Emerging Hungarian artist Cancel (stylised cancel.) has dropped his second single, ‘Paper Plane.’

The moody track draws on elements of hip-hop with subtle house influences, and dark, experimental undertones.

Eastern Europe is not renowned for its rap scene, but that’s not stopped Cancel from forging his path. The rapper and producer was nominated by Telekom Electronic Beats as one of the best up-and-coming acts in Hungary. Today, he is one of the region’s most innovative upcoming rapper-singer-producers.

‘Paper Plane’ tells the story of a failed relationship, characterised by empty promises. The slow, moody track – paired off with its jarring, techno-inflected outro – captures the sense of dysfunction and lingering discomfort.
